There are notes of heather roots, cut herbs, a touch of fresh fruits and honey. The sensation in the mouth is complex – ‘sweet chilly’ is a good description of this taste and the tingling sensation on the tongue.

The palate is of good body and quite sweet. There are notes of toffee and caramel with vanilla fudge and a touch of gentle, supple oak. The finish is of medium-length.

Jameson Irish Whiskey Produced at the Midleton Distillery, Jameson is Ireland's quintessential Irish blend, a classic. Jim Murray even awarded it an incredible 95 points. The nose is full and floral with a smooth sweetness. Marmalade and fudge, Madeira and a little cut grass note.

A 12 year old blended whisky, one of the world's most famous blends. Johnnie Walker Black is a blend of around 40 whiskies, very well put together. The nose is quite full. There are notes of winter spice and treacle, hints of white pepper and a little citrus.
